He worked for Atomic Energy of Canada were he started as a apprentice machinist. After 20 years in the machine shop he was advanced to the engineering office where he was a production planner project leader. His first projects were on food irradiators. After this project was moved to another division he worked on Beam Therapy this was the manufacturing of Cancer Therapy Equipment.
His hobby is hand gun shooting and teaching. He and his wife Linda looked after a cub pack in Carleton Place for 6 years. He has a passion for old cars and motor cycles which he owns one of each.
He is married to Linda and has two children Natasha and Shane and his best friend is his grandson Brayden. His Masonic life started in 1997 at St.John’s Lodge No 63 Carleton Place he became Worshipful Master in 2004. He is also a member of Goodwood No 159 which is his fathers lodge, and a member of Luxor Daylight Lodge No 741. He has filled may district chairs over the years and is now Past President of The Past Masters, Masters and Wardens’ Association.
He became District Deputy Grand Master of Ottawa 1 on July 15th 2009.
